LMS began as a small idea with a simple purpose: helping to raise funds for my son’s football team. What started as a bit of fun among parents and friends quickly turned into something more, as people enjoyed the challenge and competitive edge that Last Man Standing brings.

As my son grew older and moved on to other things, the game didn’t fade away. Instead, the players who had taken part wanted it to continue. Word began to spread naturally — people told friends, friends told friends — and LMS grew organically, season after season.

From an original group of just 10 players, LMS has developed into a thriving community of up to 400 players, all competing weekly across the English leagues. What’s remained the same throughout is the focus on fairness, transparency, and keeping the competition enjoyable for everyone involved.

Over the years, LMS has proudly paid out over £25,000 in prize money to multiple winners, proving that what started as a fundraiser has become a trusted and well-run competition that players keep coming back to.

Today, LMS is about more than just football results. It’s about the banter, the tension of picking that one team each week, and being part of a community that’s grown the right way — organically, through trust and word of mouth.
